Blu Monkey Friendly Market Ep.2: Picnic in the Nature is a community-focused market bringing together local vendors from Krabi Province, featuring organic products, goods from the Baan Nai Sa community, music, and a variety of creative and wellness workshops.
Activities include Sound Healing, Puppy Yoga, Eco Printing, Recycling Workshops, and Creative Talks designed to enhance skills, share knowledge, and update participants on current trends.
The event is organized by BLU MONKEY HOTEL Group and will be held
at Blu Monkey Pooltara Krabi Hotel & Villas, Krabi Province, on 10–11 August 2024, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The market is curated under the concept of “SUSTAINABLE” living, promoting good health and well-being for people of all ages, as well as encouraging sustainable production and consumption. The event emphasizes responsible and efficient use of natural resources, reduction of food waste, minimizing chemical and toxic waste released into the environment through proper management, and waste reduction through reuse and recycling practices.
Krabi is renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty and is a popular destination for travelers from around the world who seek an authentic connection with nature. Beyond its stunning beaches, Krabi is also home to dramatic limestone cliffs and mountains.
The event venue, Blu Monkey Pooltara Krabi Hotel & Villas, is located in Baan Nai Sa Community, surrounded by lush nature.
A clear natural stream flows through the hotel grounds, creating a unique and tranquil atmosphere—perfect for relaxation and activities for families and pet lovers, all amidst beautiful natural surroundings.
Inside the event, more than 30 local vendors from nearby communities, especially Baan Nai Sa, Krabi,
will showcase and sell community products and local ingredients. The core intention of the market is to invite everyone to explore and rediscover the true meaning of “Sustainability” together.
The event is plastic-free, encouraging visitors to bring their own reusable cups, food containers, and picnic mats. Food is sold in mindful portions to help reduce food waste. Decorations are created from unused hotel materials through upcycling, giving new life to discarded items.
This initiative not only supports environmental responsibility but also helps generate additional income for the local community—bringing people together to enjoy, learn, and share happiness in a truly sustainable way. The event also provides dedicated spaces for workshops and interactive activities for all ages.
